As announced in the budget today, Excise tax types for tobacco have been updated on CDS with the new rates of excise duty starting at 6PM on 26 November 2025 (today). The new rates of the tobacco tax types are:
- 611 – £471.93 per 1,000 cigarettes or £353.50 per 1,000 cigarettes plus 16.5% of the retail price.
- 615 – £440.93 per kilogram.
- 619 – £503.80 per kilogram.
- 623 – £193.87 per kilogram.
- 627 – £193.87 per kilogram.
- 633 – £363.36 per kilogram.
