1. Changes to commodity codes

This notice explains changes that have been made to the Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) system.

Changes to commodity codes

Delete the following code:

2915 7040 90

Replace with:

• 2915 7040 95 — Fatty acids with a carbon chain length of C6, C8, C10, C12, C14, C16 or C18 with an iodine value below 105g or 100g, including single fatty acids (also referred to as ‘pure cut’) and blends containing a combination of two or more carbon chain lengths
• 2915 7040 98 — Other

Add the following code:

• 2915 7050 10 — Fatty acids with a carbon chain length of C6, C8, C10, C12, C14, C16 or C18 with an iodine value below 105g or 100g, including single fatty acids (also referred to as ‘pure cut’) and blends containing a combination of two or more carbon chain lengths
• 2915 7050 90 — Other

Delete the following code:

• 2915 9030 90

Replace with:

• 2915 9030 95 — Fatty acids with a carbon chain length of C6, C8, C10, C12, C14, C16 or C18 with an iodine value below 105g or 100g, including single fatty acids (also referred to as ‘pure cut’) and blends containing a combination of two or more carbon chain lengths
• 2915 9030 98 — Other

Delete the following code:

• 2915 9070 90

Replace with:

• 2915 9070 95 — Fatty acids with a carbon chain length of C6, C8, C10, C12, C14, C16 or C18 with an iodine value below 105g or 100g, including single fatty acids (also referred to as ‘pure cut’) and blends containing a combination of two or more carbon chain lengths
• 2915 9070 98 — Other

Add the following code:

• 2916 1500 10 — Fatty acids with a carbon chain length of C6, C8, C10, C12, C14, C16 or C18 with an iodine value below 105g or 100g, including single fatty acids (also referred to as ‘pure cut’) and blends containing a combination of two or more carbon chain lengths
• 2916 1500 90 — Other

Delete the following code:

• 3823 1990 89

Replace with:

• 3823 1990 95 — Fatty acids with a carbon chain length of C6, C8, C10, C12, C14, C16 or C18 with an iodine value below 105g or 100g, including single fatty acids (also referred to as ‘pure cut’) and blends containing a combination of two or more carbon chain lengths
• 3823 1990 98 — Other
