This notice explains changes that have been made to the Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) system.
Changes to commodity codes
Delete the following code:
- 7211 1400 90
Replace with:
- 7211 1400 91 – a width not exceeding 350 millimetres (mm)
- 7211 1400 95 – other
Delete the following code:
- 7211 1900 90
Replace with:
- 7211 1900 91 – a width not exceeding 350mm
- 7211 1900 95 – other
Delete the following code:
- 7226 1910 90
Replace with:
- 7226 1910 91 – a width not exceeding 350mm and a thickness of 50mm or more
- 7226 1910 95 – other
Delete the following code:
- 7211 1300 00
Replace with:
- 7211 1300 11 – a width not exceeding 350mm and a thickness of 50mm or more
- 7211 1300 19 – other
Delete the following code:
- 7226 9191 00
Replace with:
- 7226 9191 11 – a width not exceeding 350mm and a thickness of 50mm or more
- 7226 9191 19 – other
