Check the new commodity codes in the UK Trade Tariff and the Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) system from 1 April 2018.

Chapter 38
Insert the following commodity codes:
- 3802 9000 11 - soda flux calcinated diatomaceous earth, acid washed, for use as a filter aid in the manufacture of pharmaceutical and/or biochemical products
- 3824 9992 35 - preparations containing not less than 92% but not more than 96.5% by weight of 1,3:2,4-bis-O-(4-methylbenzylidene)-D-glucitol and also containing carboxylic acid derivatives and an alkyl sulphate
CHIEF has been updated. These changes will appear in the April 2018 version of the printed Tariff.
